Yin Tao won the Round of 758 WPT® Korea Main Event 🇰🇷 at Jeju Shinhwa World on Saturday night. Tao🇨🇳 from China won $232,667 💰 in the World Poker Tour® Special Event 🇰🇷 in South Korea.
The buy-in with a buy-in fee of 3,400,000 won (US$2,643) generated a prize pool of 2,246,947,400 won (US$1,746,343) to be paid to the top 95 players. Due to the large number of participants, it was announced that the competition would be extended by one day to determine the winner.

Remaining final tablers are Shu Kenkuni (4th – $115,545), Zhang Chunhao (5th – $86,994) and Toshihide Sawada (6th 1st place – $64,673). Other notable contestants up for grabs include Steve O’Dwyer (29th – $9,470), Michael Wang (59th) and American actress, singer and model Arden Cho (80th – $4,858 ).

WPT Korea Festival’s Another highlight was the KRW 170,000,000 (US$132,126) WPT Alpha8 entry at the Jeju Shinhwa World One Drop. The event attracted 18 entries for a total prize pool of KRW 2,846,016,000 (US$2,211,958). Professional poker player Steve O ‘Dwyer emerged victorious, claiming over $1,000,000 in first prize.
Two World Poker Tour events follow at WPT Prime Provence on August 2 Aix kicks off with a buy-in of €1,100 and the final table will be broadcast live on the final day (August 6). The WPT Prime Taiwan Music Festival will take place immediately after the South of France. Event schedule on August 8 The curtain kicks off with entry eligibility from August 17th to 21st at NT$33,000, including Asia’s first guaranteed grand prize of US$1,000,000.
