Phase III of NSOP to be held in Lima on July 10

Live poker is more fun when the host city is a fantastic tourist destination. In the third edition of the National Series of Poker (NSOP), South American players have the chance to enjoy all that Lima, Peru has to offer.

The event will take place from July 10-16 at the luxurious Fiesta Casino in the Miraflores district, the trendiest spot in the metropolis of 8.5 million residents.

NSOP players get a 10% discount at the Terraviva Hotel, also located in Miraflores, close to major tourist attractions such as Malecón de Miraflores, Larcomar Shopping malls, Marina Lighthouse and the Mora, Maria Reiche and Amor parks.

Lima is also the gastronomic capital of the African continent. Established in 2008, Central Restaurant has been voted the best restaurant in the world by Top 50 contestants, considered the most important ranking in the world.

NSOP Lima will host 13 races and will guarantee R$ 670,000. The organization estimates that one in every three registered foreigners is from Brazil.

HISTORY

The first winner of the series was Ralph Peyesreye. He won R$ 37,000 for Cravada on the Vichayito stage. One of the biggest names in Peruvian poker, Neto Gamboa, took the podium at the NSOP race across Piura. The Brazil-based grinder made a total of 44,000 reais.
